Hot springs experience report:
Staying at a ryokan, bathing at an onsen, eating Japanese cuisine and wearing yukata make for a genuinely Japanese experience!
Hot springs experience report Three tourists are staying at an long-established hot spring ryokan. The room and bathroom are quite different from a common hotel. How will they like it?
Hot springs experience report1
First of all, they take their shoes off at the entrance and put on a pair of slippers before checking in at the front desk. "A lady in kimono comes out to greet us".
Hot springs experience report2
Nakai-san, or one of the ryokan’s hosts takes them to their room.
Hot springs experience report3
The room has a view of a Japanese garden. "I like the smell of tatami." "There is a hanging scroll picture on the wall."
Hot springs experience report4
When they are relaxing in the room, Nakai-san returns with green tea and sweets.
Hot springs experience report5
They decide to take a bath before dinner. "Here we go!" "Let's try the outdoor bath."
Hot springs experience report6
Dinner is served at the room. Delicious looking Japanese dishes cover the entire table. "Rice, miso soup, sashimi, a hot pot and tempura...it's a full course meal!" "Cheers! " "Let's eat!"

After dinner, they take a walk to Yubatake in their yukata. "Yubatake looks dreamy when lit up at night."
When they return to their room, futons are already laid out for them. "Good night."

Hold the ends of collar with your hands and lift the yukata off the floor to adjust its length. Continue to hold the collar ends and bring the right collar end to your left side. Then, bring the left collar to your right side. Keep holding the yukata tightly with your left hand and place a belt around your waist with your right hand. Tie the belt tightly… And make a bowknot to finish.
